At Moulin du Pé, every root runs deep into the rich history of a unique region.
For more than three generations, Domaine Delaunay has been crafting pure, vibrant Muscadets in Le Loroux-Bottereau. Grown on soils of amphibolite and gneiss, these wines reveal the full character of the terroir and the refinement of a family legacy.

I was born in 1992, right in the middle of the grape harvest, and grew up surrounded by vineyards in Le Loroux-Bottereau, near the Moulin du Pé. From a very young age, I helped my parents in the vineyards and the cellar, during a time that wasn’t always easy for Muscadet. After completing my studies at business school, I pursued a career in sales, before feeling the need to return to something more tangible, more vibrant.
I then decided to change careers, completing training in Briacé before returning to the estate in 2017. After several internships with winemakers across France, I took over the operation in 2020. Today, I cultivate about thirty hectares, mostly Melon de Bourgogne, with a strong commitment to transitioning to organic viticulture and returning to a more intimate, human-scale operation. My goal: authentic wines, produced with minimal intervention, that fully reflect our terroirs.
Grown on the amphibolite soils of Le Loroux-Bottereau hillsides, our Goulaine reveals subtle minerality and a lovely structure. Aged on its lees for 24 months, it develops elegant notes and remarkable length, authentically reflecting this unique terroir shaped by nature and time.

“I was born in 1992, during the grape harvest—a sign of destiny, as the elders would say. From my father and my uncle, I inherited the skills, the patience, and the love for my land.
Today, I have a better understanding of what it means to be a winemaker: to bring the land to life and honor those who worked it before me.”
